Speed’s Big Bore Throttle Body

Speed’s 48mm, 51mm, and 55mm “Big Bore Throttle Bodies” show a 35%, 60% and 88% increase in airflow compared to the stock system.

Our throttle bodies come with a matched intake manifold and both are supplied in a satin finish. An option to the satin finish is a mirror polish for you “Custom” enthusiasts as well as a black wrinkle finish for everyone looking to retain the “Ultimate Sleeper” appearance.

The original equipment components and electronics are one hundred percent compatible, so there is not a pile of parts left over after the upgrade. As testing was going on, it became obvious that the stock electronics had huge potentials if used or manipulated more towards the direction of performance, rather than just to be a mild mannered cruiser.

Generally about 4 hours of wrenching will complete the installation with tools owned by almost every rider. After you have corrected the suffocation problem that your motorcycle was suffering from, now it is time to add fuel to that charge of air so that it can make some horsepower.
